Experience Yellowknife through a complete shared-tour itinerary combining two mobile Aurora Hunts, one stationary Aurora Viewing Experience, city sightseeing, Cameron Falls, a bison and scenic highway tour, and airport transfers.

The two mobile hunts and one stationary viewing experience give guests different ways to experience the Northern Lights: mobile hunts travel to selected viewing locations according to conditions, while the stationary experience provides a comfortable fixed base for watching the sky.

DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY

Day 1 — Arrival, airport pickup and Aurora Hunt #1

Airport pickup is arranged according to the arriving flight information provided by the guest. Transfer to the guest’s Yellowknife accommodation is included. In the evening or at night, join the first mobile Aurora Hunt.

Day 2 — Yellowknife City Sightseeing and Aurora Hunt #2

At approximately 10:00 a.m., join the Yellowknife City Sightseeing Tour. This is the only major daytime excursion scheduled for Day 2. The tour introduces Yellowknife landmarks, history, neighbourhoods, geography, scenic viewpoints, Old Town, downtown, Great Slave Lake, the Bush Pilots Monument, government and capital-city landmarks, mining-city history, and general city orientation. In the evening or at night, join the second mobile Aurora Hunt.

Day 3 — Cameron Falls and stationary Aurora Viewing

At approximately 10:00 a.m., depart on the Cameron Falls Guided Hiking Tour. This is the only major daytime excursion scheduled for Day 3. In the evening or at night, enjoy a stationary Aurora Viewing Experience.

Day 4 — Bison & Scenic Highway Tour and departure

At approximately 10:00 a.m., depart on the Bison & Scenic Highway Tour. Airport drop-off is arranged according to the departing flight information provided by the guest.

Day 4 flight requirement: Guests must book a sufficiently late departing flight to participate in the scheduled Bison & Scenic Highway Tour. Guests with early departures may be unable to join the Day 4 activity. Flight details must be provided in advance so the itinerary and airport transfer can be confirmed.

Shared daytime tours follow the established schedule: standard daytime departures are approximately 10:00 a.m.; Aurora experiences operate at night. Exact pickup times are confirmed before each activity.
