Experience Yellowknife's winter landscapes on a shared guided winter driving tour with hotel/accommodation pickup included.

Scheduled start and pickup: 10:00 AM. Accommodation pickup is included. Please be ready inside your accommodation lobby or at its main entrance at 10:00 AM. This is the beginning of the shared pickup window; allow up to 30 minutes for your bus to arrive, between 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM. The scheduled start time is the start of pickups, not the end of the pickup window.

This product is designed to remain accurate throughout the winter season. The route varies according to seasonal conditions, road conditions, ice conditions, safety, and operational requirements.

When local ice roads are officially open and conditions permit, the tour includes an ice-road experience. Before an ice road is open, or when conditions do not allow travel on one, the tour operates as a scenic Yellowknife winter drive featuring northern landscapes, frozen lakes, winter-road interpretation, local life, and information about how ice roads are built and used.

We do not advertise or promise that guests will drive on an ice road before an ice road is open. Your guide will explain current seasonal conditions honestly on the day of travel.

Included: shared guided winter driving tour by bus, Yellowknife hotel/accommodation pickup and drop-off, local interpretation, and photo stops where conditions permit.

Not included: meals, winter clothing rental unless booked separately or included in a package, personal expenses, and gratuities.
