North Arm & Bison Adventure | Women-Only Day Tour from Yellowknife

- Duration: 9 Hours (approx.)
- Location: Yellowknife, NT
- Product code: PEWRHM
Experience one of the Northwest Territories' most scenic road trips as we journey from Yellowknife toward the breathtaking North Arm of Great Slave Lake.
Your perfect northern day includes incredible wildlife, peaceful forests, delicious food, and the freedom to simply slow down and enjoy the journey.
This all-inclusive women-only experience is designed for travelers who want to experience the North beyond the city. Together we'll venture out on this scenic Yellowknife Highway, stopping often to admire the landscape, photograph the views, and watch for one of the North's most iconic animals—the magnificent wood bison.
Unlike traditional sightseeing tours, we won't be rushing from stop to stop. We'll take our time, pulling over whenever something catches our eye, whether it's wildlife, wildflowers, dramatic rock formations, or sweeping views across the boreal forest.
Our destination is the spectacular North Arm of Great Slave Lake, where we'll enjoy a beautifully prepared picnic on the shore of one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world. Depending on the season, we'll stroll along the shoreline, forage for wild berries, search for morel mushrooms, learn about northern plants, or simply relax and soak in the quiet beauty of the landscape.
With a maximum of six guests, this intimate small-group experience offers plenty of opportunities for conversation, photography, and genuine connection with nature, yourself and others.
Whether you're visiting Yellowknife for a conference, extending your holiday, or looking for an unforgettable outdoor experience, this tour offers a peaceful introduction to the extraordinary landscapes that make Canada's North so special.
