Join NWT Charter Services' main shared Northern Lights / Aurora Hunting experience by bus.

Pickup begins at 9:00 PM from the Yellowknife hotel or accommodation you provide when booking. The standard shared pickup window is 9:00-9:30 PM. Please wait inside the lobby or at the main entrance of your accommodation. Your driver-guide will come to your selected pickup location. The tour begins operationally once scheduled guests are onboard.

This is an Aurora hunting tour, which means the route may change during the evening. Your guide travels outside the city lights and may move between viewing areas when useful for weather, cloud cover, road conditions, safety, and Aurora activity.

During the tour, your guide shares interpretation about Aurora science, northern life, Yellowknife, and winter conditions. Warm beverages, light snacks, and photography assistance or group photos are provided where operationally available.

Approximate duration is four hours once guests are onboard. Guests should expect to be back at their Yellowknife accommodation by about 2:30 AM, depending on pickup order, road conditions, weather, and Aurora operations.

Included: shared guided Aurora hunting tour by bus, Yellowknife hotel/accommodation pickup and drop-off, local interpretation, warm beverages/light snacks where available, and photography assistance/group photos where currently provided.

Not included: winter clothing rental unless booked separately or included in a package, personal expenses, and gratuities.

Aurora visibility is a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed. The route and viewing locations may change for weather, road conditions, safety, and operational requirements.
